Mission Statement

Iona Medical Centre’s mission is to provide the highest standard of patient care whilst incorporating a holistic approach toward diagnosis and management of illness.

The clinical team are committed to promoting health, well being and disease prevention to all patients and do not discriminate in the provision of excellent care whilst aiming to treat all patients with dignity and respect.

Practice Background

Iona Medical Centre was established in 2001 by a group of local General Practitioners who relocated their individual practices to our current location thus continuing the building’s long history as a medical establishment.

Built in 1908 as a doctor’s rooms and residence and used as a hospital from 1968 till 1998, it is now heritage listed.

PARKING

Iona Medical Centre has patient parking at the western side of the building. To access this car park, turn left off of Russell Street just before the set of lights at the intersection of Clifford and Russell Streets. Parking for the disabled is also available.
